Andrea Peto

Andrea has been a member of the Golden Eagle team since 2014 – bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience – having worked in the luxury travel industry for over 25 years.

We asked Andrea what she enjoys most about working with GELT: “Our team has become like a family over the many journeys we’ve been together, so when I spend almost every day in a different country, I’m still “at home” on the train. Our passengers also feel this special bond, which fills me with pride and joy.”

When asked what made her want to be a tour manager? Andrea replied: “As the train developed, I went from being a tour guide to a tour manager, and as the old bunk-bed cabins were converted into luxury ones, parallel I gained a lot of experience and knowledge. “I grew up with the train”. I simply love and enjoy all my tasks and tour management has become part of my life.”

Tatiana Kolesnikova

A familiar face to many of you, Tatiana Kolesnikova, joined Golden Eagle Luxury Trains in 2004 as the principal Tour Manager on the Golden Eagle train.

Over the years Tatiana has become a much loved staple of the Golden Eagle team – travelling on the Golden Eagle and the Golden Eagle Danube Express.

Veronica Botvinik

Veronica has been a treasured member of the Golden Eagle team for over a quarter of a century!

We asked Veronica about her time with GELT:

“I have been with the company for over 25 years working as a ground operator in Russia, where I was involved in helping to launch the train.

I was working on the new routes in Russia and former CIS countries, investigating new routes, trade partners and helping to design new programs – such as Northern Lights, Crimea express, North Caucasus and Caspian Odyssey…to name just a few!

All through these years I have considered Golden Eagle Luxury Trains as my family and I hope to continue having many more exciting journeys and wonderful adventures with the team in the future“

Yana Chistyikova

A member of the Golden Eagle family since 2008 – Yana originally joined the team as a Spanish Tour Guide and Interpreter. With her effervescent personality and fascinating insights, Yana soon became a permanent and very popular fixture aboard the Golden Eagle.

When asked what she enjoys most about working with GELT:

“I love the diversity of destinations featured on the Golden Eagle tours. Since joining in 2008, I have been able to visit an unbelievable number of countries and cities – all truly beautiful and interesting in their own unique way. Alongside visiting amazing places and meeting equally wonderful guests, each day, I get to collaborate with the brilliant Golden Eagle team.”

Anna Kochetkova

Anna first started working with the Golden Eagle team in the late 1990s, as a local Lake Baikal guide. She officially joined the company as a Tour Manager in 2007.

We asked Anna what she enjoys most her job: “Golden Eagle Luxury Trains is the best travel company providing a top class service to its clients. I like travelling. I like meeting people from all over the world. I am very happy to have a chance to do what I like, and I am proud of being part of GE team.”
