The health and safety of our guests and staff is of paramount importance to us. We are continuously and closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) developments and will continue to prioritise the safety of our guests and train staff.
We have always employed stringent safety and sanitation protocols on each and every one of our trains, and we will continue to do so (with special measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19).
Our tours are not scheduled to restart until late 2020 at the earliest. Once our tours resume, strict sanitation protocols will be implemented across all our trains going forward. These protocols will follow the very latest advice at that time from various government agencies and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
For example it is likely at this stage to see changes to on-board dining such as the removal of buffets and all touch points, like chairs and salt and pepper shakers, are immediately disinfected after each seating. All guests and train staff will be required to sanitise their hands when entering public spaces, when coming back on board the train each day, and before each meal.
We will continue to develop our health and safety policy in line with the requirements issued by worldwide government and health authorities based on the latest guidelines and will provide a full update of all the actions we will take on our website shortly.
